Queues: Customize the From name (Email attribution) of your queue's outgoing emails

To access a queue's Email settings go to Admin > Queues > Edit Queue () icon for the queue > Email tab.

The Email Attribution option allows you to customize the name that displays in the "From" field of your outgoing emails. You can choose to display a specific name on all outgoing emails or display the name of the staff member sending the message.

  1. Enter the name you want to use in the Email From Name field (e.g. "Springy Library Reference" or "Springy Public Library").
  2. If you want to send all outgoing emails with that name, select the Send messages as the name above. Otherwise, select Send messages as the user who wrote the text if you want emails to be attributed to the staff member who wrote the message.
  3. Save your changes.
