Social Media: Analyze your Facebook statistics and engagement in LibAnswers

In this article

By connecting a Facebook page to one of your queues, you will be able to analyze the statistics of your Facebook activity over time -- right from within LibAnswers. This includes:

  • Monthly breakdown of posts, comments, and likes so you can analyze trends over time.
  • Distribution of posts, comments, and likes by day of the week so you can see which days are most active.
  • Distribution of posts, comments, and likes by hour of the day so you can see which times are most active.
  • Lists of your most active, liked, and commented posts, as well as your most active followers, which users have the most likes, and which users have the most comments.

Additionally, you will be able to analyze your Facebook engagement over time . This includes:

  • Distribution of new and lost followers by day
  • Breakdown of impressions by day, age & gender, and type
  • Breakdown of sharing by day and type

Please note that engagement statistics are updated nightly for the previous day. Some of these statistics are only generated by Facebook for a page that has more than 30 people who like it.

Before you begin: if you've not yet connected a Facebook page to your LibAnswers queue, please see our FAQ on the topic for more info. Once you have that set up, then you'll be able to add new posts via LibAnswers.

Who can access Facebook statistics and engagement?

  • Admin users: because Admins have admin access to every queue, they can view the stats for all connected Facebook pages.
  • Regular users: in order to view Facebook activity, Regular users must have either Regular or Admin access to a queue with a connected Facebook page. That will allow them to view only stats from that page.
