What is the language translation?
In LibAnswers, each user can select the language used by the system for the default text for the following staff-side areas of LibAnswers:
- LibAnswers Dashboard
- Ticket Answer Page
- Tickets Knowledge Base Explorer (includes associated Statistics pages)
- LibChat Dashboard
- LibChat Administration (includes Transcripts, Statistics, etc.)
User-generated text (i.e. tickets and FAQs) are not translated -- they will be displayed as written. Additionally, the selection that you make for your language does not apply to public-side pages. These still display according to the selected base language for the system, queue, or FAQ group.
This setting is specific to each individual user in your system, which means that you can use the language of your choice without impacting how any other users in your system see the text.
Currently, LibAnswers supports the following languages:
- US English
- Serbian (Cyrllic)
While admins can adjust the Base Language used by LibAnswers, your personal language translation will take priority.
Changing your language translation
To change the language used for your account, scroll to the bottom of any page, and select the new language from the dropdown menu.
