Reply-To settings for event confirmation emails

When an event has registration enabled, attendees will receive a confirmation email when they register for the event. The "Reply-To" and "CC" fields of the email can be customized, allowing you to control how the event organizer is included in these outgoing emails.

Some of the options use your system's Reply-To email address.

  1. From the Reply-To Settings for Event Confirmation Emails box, select one of the following options:
    • The email address (set above) is the "Reply-To": address. The event organizer will be CC'ed: this option will use the email address from the "Reply-To" Email setting in the "Reply-To" field and include the event's organizer in the "CC" field. This means replies will not go directly to the event organizer unless the patron uses "Reply All".
    • The event organizer is the "Reply-To:" address. The email address (set above) will be CC'ed: this option will use the event organizer as the "Reply-To" field and include the address from the "Reply-To" Email setting in the "CC" field. This means replies will go directly to the event organizer.
    • The email address (set above) is the "Reply-To:" address. Nobody is CC'ed: this option will use the email address from the "Reply-To" Email setting as the "Reply-To". This excludes the event organizer from the emails.
    • The event organizer is the "Reply-To:" address. Nobody is CC'ed: this option will use the event organizer as the "Reply-To". This excludes the address from the "Reply-To Email" setting from the emails.
