In this article

Once you've selected a base language, you can further customize the default text on your public pages by using the Custom Language options. This can allow you to greatly personalize the text throughout your public pages.

To customize the default text:

  1. Go to Admin > System Settings from the command bar.
  2. Click on the Language Options tab.

Navigating to the Language Options page

  1. In the Custom Language panel, select the category where your text appears.
  2. Locate the text you want to change in the Default Language column.
    1. Not sure exactly where the language appears? Hover over the corresponding "info" () icon.
  3. Enter your custom text in the adjacent Local Customization text field.
    • Some default text contains characters like %s or %s2$s. These are placeholders for parts of the phrase that will be variable depending on the context.
    • The info link next to the customization input for that phrase will explain what the characters represent.
    • Take this default language for an example: Exceeded %s time slot limit:
      • The %s represents the type of time limit (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly)
      • On your actual public page, users would see: Exceeded weekly time slot limit:
  4. Click the Save button.
