Customize the capacity filter ranges and labels on the public space booking pages

Space capacity filters

The public space bookings page allows patrons to filter your spaces by capacity. This can help them quickly identify available rooms that can accommodate their needs. The capacity filters are broken down into 4 ranges which can be customized. For example, you can set the first filter to display rooms from 1-4 people, the second filter to display 5-8 people, and so on. You can also customize the labels for these filters, as well.

  1. To customize a filter's range, change the number in the filter's first text field. Once you change focus, the subsequent filters will update automatically.
    • For example, if you set the "1 to" filter to a value of 4, then spaces with a capacity of of 1-4 people will be grouped together when patrons select it.
    • That will automatically start the next filter at 5. If you then set that "5 to" filter to a value of 8, then spaces with a capacity of 5-8 people will be grouped together when patrons select it.
    • That will automatically start the third filter at 9. If you then set that "9 to" filter to a value of 12, then spaces with a capacity of 9-12 people will be group together when patrons select it.
    • That will automatically start the last filter at 13. This final filter's range cannot be customized, so it will include all spaces with a capacity of 13 or more people when patrons select it.
  2. To customize a filter's label, change the text in the corresponding Display As text field. This is what patrons will actually see on your space booking page.
  3. When finished, click on the Save button.
