Spaces: Set a space's details (image & description)

Along with setting space-level booking form fields, LibAuth group rules, and terms & conditions, each space has an Image and Description that can be customized to provide users with specific information about the item when booking the space.

To adjust the details to use for a space:

  1. Go to Admin > Spaces & Equipment.
  2. Under the Locations tab, find the location containing the category you want to move and click on its link in the Spaces column.

  1. Click the Edit Space () icon for the space that you want to move.

  1. Under the Details tab, you can customize the following fields:
    1. Image URL: Click on the Launch Image Manager button to upload and/or select an image to display for this space. This will automatically insert the image's URL in the Image URL field.
      • Alternatively, if an image is hosted elsewhere, you can enter the full URL in the Image URL field.
      • Note: the recommended dimensions are 150px by 150px so that the images display optimally in the space allotted.
      • A thumbnail image will display below the Image URL field so you can preview how the image looks.
      • If you no longer want to display an image for a space, delete the URL from the Image URL field and save your changes.
    2. Description: Provide a description of an item, such as its specs or any special features it might have.
      • This will display on the public bookings page when someone views more information about the space.
  2. Click the Save Settings button.
