Spaces & Equipment: Copy booking form details to create a new booking

Instead of starting completely from scratch, you can create a new space or equipment booking by copying the booking form info from an existing one. 

Step 1. Find the booking you want to copy

You can look up a booking in one of two ways (three for equipment bookings):

Via the Availability grid

  1. Click on Spaces in the navigation bar to copy info from a space booking, or click on Equipment to copy info from an equipment booking.
  2. Click on the Booking Grid & Availability tab.
  3. Locate the booking you want to copy and click on its time slot.
  4. In the Booking Details panel that appears, click on the copy () button next to the user's email address.

Via the Booking Explorer

  1. Click on Spaces in the navigation bar to copy info from a space booking, or click on Equipment to copy info from an equipment booking.
  2. Click on the Booking Explorer tab.
  3. Use the filters to help locate the booking you want to copy, clicking the Go button to update the list.
  4. When you've found the booking you want to copy, click on the copy () button next to its Booking ID.

Via the Check Out/In tabs

  1. Click on Equipment in the navigation bar.
  2. Click on the Check Out or Check In tab.
  3. Use the filters to help locate the booking you want to copy, clicking the Go button to update the list.
  4. When you've found the booking you want to copy, click on the copy () button next to its Booking ID.

Step 2. Configure your new booking 

  1. In the Copy Booking window that appears, click inside the Start Date field to select a start date and time for your new booking.
  2. Next, click on the  Add Space button to add a space to your new booking, or the  Add Item button to add equipment.

  1. Select your space or item from the dropdown.
  2. Click inside the End/Due Date field to select an end date and time for your new booking.
    1. You can click on the  Add Space button to add another space to your new booking, or the  Add Item button to add more equipment, if desired.
    2. Use the  Remove Space or  Remove Item buttons to remove a space or item from your booking.
  3. When finished adding spaces and/or items to your new booking, click on the Submit Times button.

  1. The booking form info from the previous booking will automatically be filled in for you. If needed, you can customize the booking form fields before creating your new booking.
    1. If you need to make any changes to the booked spaces/items, click the Change link.
  2. Click the Add Booking button.
