In this article

Within an equipment category's booking limits, you set the Back to Back Booking Limit option to require a certain amount of time to pass before a user can book another item in the category, location, or system-wide.

To customize this setting for a category:

  1. Go to Admin > Spaces & Equipment.
Selecting Equipment & Spaces from the Admin menu
  1. Under the Locations tab, find the location containing the category you want to move and click on its link in the Equipment column.

  1. Click on the Booking Limits tab.
  2. Use the Back to Back Booking Limit options to configure this restriction.
    1. In the Hours Between Bookings field, enter how many hours must elapse between the end of one booking and the start of another.
      • For example, if you enter a value of 4 and a patron's booking ends at 1pm, their next booking could start no earlier than 5pm that day.
    2. Use the second dropdown to select a scope for applying the limit.
      • In this category: the limit will only be based upon the duration of bookings made only in this category.
      • In this location: the limit will be based upon the duration of all bookings made in this category's location.
      • Across all locations: this limit will be based upon the duration of all bookings made in all locations.
  3. Click the Save Category Limits button.
