Assets: reassign ownership of an asset to another user

Although Admin users can edit any asset in the system, other users can only edit the assets they own (except for Regular users given the Manage Assets permission). If needed, an Admin or an asset's current owner can reassign ownership of that asset to another user.

  1. Go to Content > Assets.

  1. Under the Content Items tab, click on the asset's edit () icon in the Actions column.

  1. In the Add/Edit Content window, select a new user from the Owner dropdown.
    • Note: for some asset types, you may need to scroll down in the window to see the dropdown.
  2. Click the Save button.
