Time Clock & Accounts: Set a user's regular and overtime pay rates and overtime thresholds

In this article

LibStaffer makes it possible to track a user's wages based upon the times they clock in and out for their shifts. For each user, you can set two pay rates:

  • Regular Hourly Pay Rate: this is the rate that the user will earn until they reach their daily and/or weekly overtime thresholds. These thresholds set a number of hours that must be worked per day or week before the overtime pay rate kicks in.
  • Overtime Hourly Pay Rate: this is the rate that the user will earn once they exceed their daily and/or weekly overtime thresholds.

When pay rates and the overtime thresholds have been set,  they will be used to calculate the user's earnings in the Time Clock report. This provides a summary of each user's earnings during a certain time period and can be accessed by going to Reports > Time Clock. Earnings are calculated for each clock in/out pair in the report, allowing you to see how much was earned for each shift worked.

Each user's current pay rates will be listed on the Admin > Accounts page in the Pay Rate and Overtime Rate columns.
