Look & Feel: Customize the default fonts & colors of public pages and your site's favicon

Custom fonts and colors

Admin users can customize the default font styles and page colors, which will apply to all forms, surveys, quizzes, and tutorials. Content owners can choose to stick with the defaults, or set their own styles.

To adjust the default fonts and colors:

  1. Go to Admin > System Settings.
  2. Click on the Look & Feel tab.
  3. Customize the default font styles.
    1. Font Family: choose from one of several supported font styles for the text on each page. (Default: Arial)
    2. Page Title: set the text color of the page title. (Default: #000000)
    3. Question Text: set the text color of each question. (Default: #000000)
    4. Choices Text: set the text color of each choice in multiple choice questions. (Default: #000000)
    5. Answer Text: set the text color of each answer option. (Default: #555555)
  4. Customize the default page colors.
    1. Border Width: set the width of the border surrounding the content of each form, survey, quiz, and tutorial. Set this to 0 if you do not want a border to display. (Default: 0)
    2. Border Color: if displaying a border, use this to set its color. (Default: #555555)
    3. Page Background: set the background color of each page. (Default: #ffffff)
    4. Interior Background: set the color inside the borders (i.e. behind the questions and answers). (Default: #ffffff)
    5. Header Background: set the background color for the page header. (Default: #ffffff)
    6. Tutorial Panel Background: set the background color of the question/content column of each slide. (Default: #f3f3f3)
  5. Click the Save button.
    1. If you would like to clear out your custom colors and fonts, you can click the Restore Default Fonts and Colors button (and save again).

For each color option, you can either click in the field to launch a color picker, or you can enter the HEX value of the color you want to use.

Custom favicon

Admin users can add the URL for a custom favicon for your site (in .ico format), which will visible on all LibWizard pages.

  1. Go to Admin > System Settings.
  2. Click on the Look & Feel tab.
  3. Add the URL of the favicon file in the Favicon field.
  4. Click the Save button.
