Forms: Limit the visibility / public access to a form

In this article

Depending upon the nature of your form, you may only want to accept submissions during certain dates. For example, if you have a feedback form for an event, you may want to only accept submissions starting on the date of the event through the following week. To do this, you can limit your form's visibility dates.

When a form's visibility is limited, it will only display during the date range you specify. If a user visits the form outside of that date range, they will instead see a message that the form is not currently available.

To customize visibility dates:

  1. Edit your form.
  2. Click on the Form Options tab.
  3. Click on the Basic Info panel to expand it.
  4. Select the Limit Form Visibility checkbox.
  5. In the From field, select the date when the form should become visible. Users will be unable to view the form prior to this date.
  6. In the To field, select the last date the form should be visible. Users will be unable to view the form after this date.
  7. Click the Save Changes button.

If you want to remove this restriction in the future, simply uncheck the Limit Form Visibility checkbox and save your changes.
