Surveys: Customize a survey's fonts and colors

You can easily customize the font style, text color, and background colors of your surveys, without needing to know anything about CSS code.


To customize the font and colors used for a survey:

  1. While editing your survey, click on the Survey Options tab.
  2. Click on the Look and Feel panel to expand it.
  3. Click on the Page Fonts and Colors button to launch the Fonts and colors window.

  1. To make your own customizations, select the Use Custom colors and fonts for this form option. (You can select the Use the System Settings option to revert back to your system's default styles at any time.)
  2. Use the options in the Fonts column to change the font family and text colors on your survey.
    1. Font family: this sets the font style for all text on the survey.
    2. Page title: enter or select the font color for the survey's page title.
    3. Question text: enter or select the font color for each field label.
    4. Choice text: enter or select the font color for options in multiple-choice fields.
    5. Answer text: enter or select the font color for text entered into basic entry fields (such as one-line text fields).
  3. Use the Page Colors options to change the border and background styles on your survey.
    1. Border Width: set the width of the border around your survey's content.
      • If you do not want to display a border, select 0.
      • When you select a width of 1, 2, or 3, you can use the Round Corners checkbox to toggle between rounded or squared corners for the border.
    2. Border color: when using a border, enter or select its color.
    3. Page background: enter or select a background color for the entire page.
    4. Interior background: enter or select a background color for the interior of the survey (i.e. the area that appears inside of your border and contains the content of your survey).
    5. Header background: enter or select a background color for the page header.
  4. Click the Save button. Your changes will be applied immediately.
