Tutorials: Customize a tutorial's fonts and colors

You can easily customize the font style, text color, and background colors of your tutorials, without needing to know anything about CSS code.


To customize the font and colors for a tutorial:

  1. While editing a tutorial, under the Tutorial Options tab, click on the Look and Feel panel to expand it.
  2. Click on the Page Fonts and Colors button. A series of options will display over the workpad.

  1. In the Fonts and Colors window, you can customize the following options:
    1. If you'd like to use the default colors for your system, select Use the System Settings.
    2. Otherwise, select Use Custom Colors and Fonts to customize them.
    3. If using custom colors, use the Fonts options to change the font family and text colors on your tutorial.
      • Font Family: the font style used on your tutorial.
      • Page Title: sets the text color of the title at the top of each page.
      • Question Text: sets the text color of questions.
      • Choice Text: sets the text color of options in Dropdown, Radio, Checkbox, Rating, and Grid fields.
      • Answer Text: sets the text color of answers entered into text-entry fields.
    4. If using custom colors, use the Page Colors options to change the background colors for your tutorial.
      • Border Width: sets the width of the border that surrounds your tutorial contents. When a width is selected, use the Round corners checkbox to toggle between round and square corners.
      • Border Color: sets the color of the border that surrounds your tutorial contents.
      • Page Background: sets the background color of the page.
      • Interior Background: sets the background color of the interior of your tutorial (i.e. the contents inside of the border).
      • Header Background: sets the background color of the tutorial's header.
      • Tutorial Panel Background: sets the background color for the question column.
  2. Click the Save button.
