Creating an FAQ from a Ref Analytics transaction

There are two ways to create an FAQ from a Ref. Analytics transaction --- when you're adding a new transaction or from an existing transaction.

From a new transaction:

  1. Go to Ref. Analytics > Add Transaction.
  2. Enter the text of the question in the Question field.
  3. Add the answer in the Answer field.
    • If you don't add the answer in now, you can always add/edit it when you are working on the FAQ.
  4. Check the Include this transaction in the public knowledge base checkbox.
  5. Select the group to add the FAQ to from the Add to Group dropdown list.
    1. Optional: Check the After submitting, redirect me to the page to edit this public Q& entry checkbox to go directly to the FAQ after submitting the transaction.
    2. Optional: Search your existing FAQs to double check whether or not you need to create this FAQ.
  6. Click the Submit or Submit & Clear button to submit the transaction.

From an existing transaction:

  1. Go to Ref. Analytics > View/Edit Transactions
  2. Click the Modify this transaction ( icon) for the transaction you want to add to the FAQ knowledge base.
  3. Check the Include this transaction in the public knowledge base checkbox.
  4. Select the group to add the FAQ to from the Add to Group dropdown list.
    1. Optional: Check the After submitting, redirect me to the page to edit this public Q& entry checkbox to go directly to the FAQ after submitting the transaction.
    2. Optional: Search your existing FAQs to double check whether or not you need to create this FAQ.
  5. Click the Save Changes button to submit the transaction.
